What is happening around us that is changing the marriage system? There may be couples staying together without having to get married. According to divorce cases captured in Malaysia in 2012 reported one divorce cases in every 10 mins which may be due to extra marital affairs, lack of intimacy, weight gain etc. This could be due to countries supporting the same sex marriage too. So is our marriage after God’s own heart i.e. One Man + One Women, purity in marriage and ensuring a life time commitment (Genesis 2:23)? As couples do we fasten our seat belts i.e. in keeping our LOVE alive (Proverbs 10:12) with love and forgiveness and by strengthening our marriage foundation and covenant (Song 6:3a)? Most importantly let our church be like a Gym whereby our marriages maybe strengthen.
