“Pass your Faith On” by Rev Poh on 3rd June 2018

What can we pass on to our next generation? Is it our house, cars, investments or is it the faith in Christ that we can pass on? When Samuel was still a boy, Hannah dedicated him to God under the care of Eli the chosen priest of Shiloh where he grew up in the house of the Lord. Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli the priest since he was a boy. Eli also ministered to Samuel well where he grew up physically and spiritually. Samuel grew up to be the last judge and the first prophet. He was the one who anointed King Saul and King David. On the other hand, Eli had two wicked sons who had no regards for the Lord for they did evil in the sight of God (Leviticus 3:3-5). So are our children sinning against God? Have I ministered to my children well and have we passed on our faith in Christ to the next generation?
