Upon receiving the abundant blessings from God, what do we ought to do? Proverb 3: 9 says, “Honour God with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops.” Meanwhile, during prophet Nehemiah’s time, the people’s offerings were in the form of first fruits of their sons, cattle, flocks, grains and etc as those time was an agricultural era. (Neh 10:36-37). When we give, it is a way of showing our appreciation to our God. Our God does not need our money but we have to truly trust God in our giving.Talking about Tithing, we are to give 10% of our income. 

These giving are to be pledged accordingly by the giver to the Local Church and SCAC (Headquarter). In all these giving, blessings will come from God. “Test me in this,’ says the LORD Almighty, ‘and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it” (Malachi 3:10b). So upon receiving blessings from God, have we offer our Wealth (Tithing and Offerings), our Time and Gifts as our Living Sacrifice to serve God our Lord?
