Conflict in Missions by Bro John Ling

The speaker bro John Ling presented the following statistics gathered on the Methodist churches in Malaysia of which there were 482 Methodist churches, 638 preaching points and 522 Pastors. According to research conducted, those countries that do not have a national church do faced conflicts. We need to foresee problems along the way. When Jesus picked 72 people to reach out to every town and place, they were untrained men whose names were not even revealed, but their names are recorded in heaven. These men do not need to have a high qualification as long as they have the heart to do mission. These missionaries were advised to travel light i.e. without bringing many things (Luke 10:4). They healed the sick and performed many miracles. Mission is something that everybody can do. Nowadays according to the latest findings, mission is something that pours out of our lives. It can be what people observed and see in our lives for e.g. in our company or in the market place. The bottom line is we need to be serious to do mission.
