Christmas Service 2019 – All I want is Jesus
TTMC 2019 CHRISTMAS SERVICE – ALL I WANT IS JESUS – (Tabuan Laru & Chin Daw).
As we approach the end of the year, the preacher Rev. Poh Chin Sing shared that it is a time for us to reflect on our lives and plan for the future. As we plan for the future, he pointed out that it is also important for us to focus on the son of God, Jesus Christ as the Shepherd of our souls. He reminded us that despite of all our worldly things like possessions, friends and family members and even our own bodies, we have to leave it behind when God decided to call us “home” one day. Therefore, he said we must seek God at all times and believe in Jesus Christ so that we will be able to have eternal lives. On the other hand, the Christmas 🎄🎅service at Chin Daw Methodist Church started with the praise and worship followed by a presentation by the choir with a song entitled ‘Emmanuel’. After that, the Sunday School children had a presentation with a song entitled ‘I have decided to follow Jesus’. Then, the Young Adults Small Group had a skit presentation which blended into the theme of the service and highlighting the importance of Jesus Christ in our lives. Before the service end, the praise and worship team sang the song, Feliz Navidad and the congregation was asked to greet one another with Merry Christmas to mark the joyous occasion.
