What is in store for us in the heavenly banquet? “On this mountain the Lord will prepare a feast of rich food, a banquet of aged wine, the best of meats and the finest wine” (Isaiah 25:6). “Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the Kingdom of God” (Luke 14:15). If you chose not to come it is your choice. The heavenly banquet is for ALL the people!How are the children of God being protected by the Lord?The Lord protects all the people, all nations, all faces and all the earth.

As the children of God, he will wipe away the tears from all faces and He will removes the disgrace of His people from all the earth (v 7 – 8). Is the Lord your personal God? If we truly believe that God the Father love you and that Jesus Christ has reconciled you back to the Father, He is a God whom we can trust (v9). For those of us who have been Christians for a long time, do we truly trust Him even in time of sickness, suffering etc.? God has His timing and He has a way of doing things. As children of God, we need to humble ourselves and to totally be submissive to our Lord and truly say that, “I am God’s children”.
