Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry is core to help the young people to –
1. Know Christ Jesus as his/her personal Saviour;
2. Develop Christian characters;
3. Serve the church and the society with joy through their ability and skills;
4. Continue to connect with each other through fellowship;
5. Become true disciple of Christ.

We meet every Sunday from 10.15am to 11.30am at TTMC’s Fellowship Hall, which is located on the first floor of the church.

TTMC Youth has elected its inaugural Committee on 5 Feb 2023.
The office bearers are:
Predisent: Joshua Chong
Secretary: Charlotte Chong
Committee members: Glenys Wong, Joanne Wong and Zachary Ho

L to R: Zachary, Charlotte, Joshua, Glenys, Joanne, and Youth Advisor Jacob.

We value on developing self-Christianity personality as our aim and helping the young people to learn and practice their faith through a series of programs, workshops, bible studies and talk sheets such as the followings;

  1. “Believe” – a bible study lead by Rev. Poh to learn Christianity and build up their faith through watching videos and discussion of talk sheets.
  1. “Workshop” – a series of program to help youths understand Bible knowledge and experience the life that happens in the bible through crafting, cooking and others together with sharing their love with others with their products. We also encourage the youths to pray and practice daily devotion.
  1. “Talk Sheets” – a series of real life or daily events that our youths would be facing and how do we react on it through discussion with a combination of bible teaching to help youths understand what would Jesus do if He would be facing the same kind of situation.
  1. “Board Games” – a challenging game based on Bible verses to help youths learn and understand the teaching and knowledge of the Bible.
  1. “Movie” -We watch movies with Christian values as well as selective moral or educational movies to help the youths to develop critical thinking and build up their faith.
  1. “Fellowship” – We spend time together celebrating special occasions such as birthdays, thanksgiving and conduct activities such as fund raising, boot camp and others.

We strongly encourage and welcome those between the age of 13-18 years old (even slightly younger and older), if you want to experience God’s love and know more about Jesus, grow stronger in your faith and socially connected with other brothers and sisters in Christ.

Hence, we would also like to invite you to join us as a member to serve in the Youth Ministry. If you have a strong vision in helping the young people to grow in faith and lead them to have a strong foundation to be a disciple of Christ, contact the Youth Leader Bro Johnnie Ngu at 012 8870223 or liase with any of our church leaders for further information.
