Who are your Spiritual partners? They could be your spouse or someone willing to share warmth when you are feeling cold. They could also be someone who is able to help you to grow spiritually. We need Spiritual partner as we move on in our journey of faith which may not be smooth all the time as sometimes we also may disagree with one another. As in Proverbs 27:17, Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another. So how is your relationship with your Spiritual partner? The next question is who are our Spiritual partners? The Preacher Rev Poh touched on 5 reasons why we need Spiritual partners:

  1. God was in partnership at the time of creation. Then God said, let us make man in our image, in our likeness (Genesis 1:26). 
  2. Jesus sent the disciples out in pairs. After this the Lord appointed 72 others and send them two by two to every town and place (Luke 10:1)
  3. When we are at works i.e. two are better than one in the field. (Eccl 4:9).
  4. When we have fallen down (Eccl 4:10) i.e. when we fail we recover faster with a partner’s help.
  5. When we are feeling cold (Eccl 4:11) i.e. when two lie down together both are kept warm.
  6. When we are being attacked (Eccl 4:12) i.e. two to defend but three to sustain which indicate the power of team work.
