Reflection/Exhortation 2: You are the light.. (06.05.2020)

Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Under the current MCO , many of us have to be a light in the community. To bring joy and comfort to their families, friends,colleagues by calling them, whatsapp or face time with them. Giving words of encouragement to those who are fearful, and bring some cheer to those living with uncertainty because of potential economic loss.
Some bought and delivered groceries and food to those who lack the means to buy or had no transport or were quarantined.
Our small group, Fri Stampin/BDC also played a small role as a light in the community. We went shopping and pooled together some needed groceries for the needy. May we continue to grasp opportunities, as God show us, to reach out to others, in whatever small way. May our light, the Light of Christ shine bright.
