Hold on to your Faith by Rev Poh on 7th Oct 2018

Do we hold on our faith during good and bad times? Job held on to his faith even when he loses all his possessions (Job 1:1). Whatever we possessed we cannot bring them along with us when we leave this world. The preacher Rev Poh shared of a sick neighbour whom he knew before who promised that if he gets better he will use his nice car to bring the Pastors around for visitation, but he never got around to do it. When Job was inflicted with painful sores he did not curse God even when he was challenged by his wife to curse God and die, thus he didn’t sin against God (Job 2:7-10). We need to honour God in our sickness/health and walk our faith journey with a spiritual partner. So do we hold on to our faith even when we lose our health or do we still trust God when we are under attack or undergoing suffering?
